Spirit is an alcoholic drink.

スピリットはまた、先祖の魂を意味します。
Spirit also means the soul of an ancestor.

You can see bottles of wine and sake of Shinshu.

日本には多くの麺類があります。ラーメン、うどん、そば、そうめん、冷麦、スパゲッティ、ビーフン、他にもいろいろ。
There are many kinds of noodles in Japan such as ramen, udon, soba, somen, hiyamugi, spaghetti, bifun and so on.

今日は米の麺、ビーフンの日です。
Today is day of bifun, rice noodles.



「米」という漢字は、「八」、「十」、「八」という三つ漢数字で構成されます。
The kanji character rice is composed of three numbers, eight, ten, and eight.

今日は八月十八日。ビーフン協会はこの日をビーフンの日に制定しました。
Today is Aug. 18, that is 8.18. Therefore Bifun Kyokai, Rice Noodle Association decided August 18th as the day of rice noodle.

日本屈指の高級リゾート地「軽井沢」の名前が付くビールと言えば、ヤッホーブルーイングの「軽井沢高原ビール」を思い浮かべる人が多いでしょう。
2013年、新たに出現したのが長野県佐久市にある軽井沢ブルワリー株式会社の、軽井沢浅間高原ビールです。
The beer that most people probably associate with Karuizawa, is Yo-Ho Brewing’s Karuizawa Kogen Beer.
In 2013, a new one emerged: Karuizawa Asama Kogen Beer, produced by Karuizawa Brewing Company in Nagano prefecture’s Saku City.

実は、私たちの家から軽井沢浅間高原ビールブルワリーを見ることができます。
Actually, we can see Karuizawa Asama Kogen Beer Brewery from our home.
